Arrests in the Escanaba/Marquette areas during past 24 hours for harboring escapees/felons, sexual assault, carjacking, domestic violence, thefts and drugs

(Escanaba and Marquette, MI area) – Very serious felonies have been filed against several Marquette and Delta County residents including harboring escapees/felons, sexual assault, carjacking, domestic violence, drugs and theft.

35-year-old Jeremy Scott Weiland of Marquette, MI was booked into the Marquette County Jail (MCJ) at 3:53 p.m. ET on Mon., Feb. 26, 2018.
Weiland is charged with harboring escapees/felons, second offense driving with a suspended/revoked license, and a not wearing a seatbelt traffic charge.
Bond has not been set on the harboring escapees/felons charge.
Details of the case have not been released.

29-year-old Cassandra “Cassie” Lynn McKelvie of Sault Ste. Marie, MI was booked into the Marquette County Jail (MCJ) at 10:49 a.m. ET on Mon., Feb. 26, 2018.
McKelvie is charged with carjacking, attempted armed robbery, assault and battery, plus breaking and entering without owner consent.
She is accused of attempting to break into cars on February 11th. And in one case allegedly pulled the driver out of a car, and forced herself inside.

25-year-old Samuel Robert Good of Escanaba, MI was booked into the Delta County Detention Center (DCDC) at 10:12 a.m. ET on Mon., Feb. 26, 2018.
Good is charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct (CSC) with multiple variables.
Good was arrested in Dec. 2016 for selling LSD numerous times Escanaba including LSD gummy candies.
He was sentenced to 9 months in jail last spring.
Good was arrested by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team.
The incidents ocurred between Oct and Dec. 2016.

25-year-old Erik Jeffrey Rynesh of Powers, MI was booked into the Delta County Detention Center (DCDC) at 2:28 p.m. ET on Mon., Feb. 26, 2018.

Rynesh is charged with domestic violence.

Bond has not been set.

Riley Ethan Meserve

21-year-old Riley Ethan Meserve of Escanaba, MI was booked into the Delta County Detention Center (DCDC) at 10:58 p.m. ET on Sunday night, Feb. 25, 2018.

Meserve is charged with possession of a controlled substance/analogues and failure to appear.

Meserve was released on bond Monday afternoon.

Meserve was sentenced to 12 months probation in Sept. 2015 for possession of burglary tools under the Michigan Holmes Youthful Trainee Act.

Anntionette Marie Cerisano

Anntionette Marie Cerisano

29-year-old Anntionette Marie Cerisano of Gladstone, MI was booked into the Delta County Detention Center (DCDC) at 3:02 a.m. ET on Mon., Feb. 26, 2018.

Cerisano is charged with larceny from a person. She has also lived in Escanaba.

Bond has not been set.

In May 2017, Cerisano was sentenced to nine months in jail for hitting two people with her car in an Escanaba parking lot during the Dec. 31, 2016 New Year’s Eve.

26-year-old Matthew C. Rasanen of Negaunee, MI was booked into the Marquette County Jail (MCJ) at 6:15 p.m. ET on Mon., Feb. 26, 2018.
Rasanen is charged with two counts of contempt of court, first degree-retail fraud and driving with no cycle endorsement.
Two of the charges do not have bond set.

35-year-old Mathew Charles Besola of Ishpeming, MI booked into the Marquette County Jail (MCJ) at 10:18 a.m. ET on Mon., Feb. 26, 2018.
Besola is charged with first-degree retail fraud.
