(Marquette, MI) – A Marquette man is jailed this morning on very serious charges after a manhunt that said he was armed with a hammer – plus the girlfriend of his twin brother has also been busted.

“Witnesses are saying that he had a hammer in his hand,” the dispatcher warned officers responding to an altercation involving four people.

It is not clear what injuries – if any – happened during the incident.

The suspect celebrated his birthday a week ago Friday night – and then this weekend was charged with at least two felonies in what appear to be separate incidents (if jail records are accurate).

Jail records do not indicate he was released on bond – but he must have been to get busted again Sunday night.

Bonner is accused of an alleged assault in a Marquette Township parking lot.

The suspect was “physically assaulting a blonde female wearing a blue jacket,” the dispatcher told responding officers.
“There is also another male and female involved,” the dispatcher said.
Then Bonner fled in an SUV (Rainier) allegedly driven by his mother.

One of the people – possibly the victim – drove to the Marquette Police Department.
The incident happened in the parking lot of T.J. Maxx and PetSmart – located along U.S. 41 in Marquette Township.
