(Marquette County, MI) – There were numerous domestic violence arrests in past 24 hours plus other felonies arrests in Marquette County involving a concealed weapon and even felony drunken driving – and breaking in Escanaba – a woman charged with DV in January calls 911 from a place she is not supposed to be.

As we were about to post this story, a domestic dispute erupted in the city of Escanaba – that shows domestic violence aggressors can be any sex – and sometimes jilted love drives some people to become repeat offenders.

Heather McEntire and John Gray

John Gray

The victim in that assault – 47-year-old John Robert Gray of Escanaba, MI – told 911 this morning that Heather and her brother attacked him.

Marquette Police responded just after 10 p.m. ET Wednesday night to a report of a possible domestic violence situation turned into hit and run.
The incident was reported at 700 Homestead St in Marquette, MI.
“Responded to a domestic situation that has now turned into a hit and run PDA (property damage accident),” the dispatcher told police headed to the scene not far from Grove Street and the bypass.
In the rear parking lot, a witness told 911 dispatchers that “a male and a female were involved in a domestic situation,” the officers were told via radio from HQ.
The blonde female ‘got in a white Jeep” and “sped out of the parking lot to get away from the male,” officers were told.
The male got into an older red passenger car and “was leaving in a hurry,” a 911 dispatcher to responding officers
The male, now a suspect, “apparently struck a black in color car in the parking lot,” he said, adding that due to darkness the exact make and model of the red car was not visible.
The red car should “have front and rear damage,” the dispatcher said.
The witness told police that the couple was involved in a previous domestic situation about one month ago.
On the east side of the apartment building, police found a damaged red Ford Taurus.
Its is unclear what became of the investigation.

(Ironwood, MI) – A quiet Sunday afternoon was broken in Ironwood, MI when a Wisconsin woman allegedly injured her husband in a domestic violence incident involving a knife inside an Ironwood convenience store.

The victim and suspect were later found in Iron County, Wisconsin, and this time he was the victim. It appears the couple have a history of domestic violence incidents as mutual combatants.

The victim also had a warrant out of Ironwood, MI for domestic violence – even though he was the victim this time.

Ironwood Public Safety officers answered the call at about 2:20 p.m. CT on Sunday afternoon, March 25, 2018.

It started with a call from the manager of the Krist Food Mart at 139 W. Cloverland Dr. in Ironwood, MI (near N. Lawrence St.).

Store manager Gary Etter said “he witnessed an assault inside the store,” the dispatcher told responding police officer. “There is blood in the store.”

The manager said he saw Storm “pull a knife on her – perhaps husband – Alex Storm.”

The couple “did leave – traveling towards Wisconsin in a red Chevy Impala,” the dispatcher told officers.

“I’ll be there in less than a minute,” said the officer assigned to the call, who arrived at 2:26 p.m. CT on Sunday afternoon, March, 25, 2018.

The suspect vehicle is a maroon burgundy 2001 Chevrolet Impala – registered to Nellie Ann Works of Wisconsin Rapids, WI – also known as Nellie A. Yatczak. Works has a Wisconsin conviction for burglary of a building or dwelling, a class F felony.
Police determined the suspect and victim (Storm coupe) are living with Works on 11784 Atlantic Street in the city of Iron Belt located in Iron County, WI.

A be-on-the-lookout (BOLO) of the vehicle was sent to Wisconsin including Hurley and Iron County, WI.

The lookout stated that officers should stop the vehicle on check on the condition of the possibly stabbed male occupant – Alex Storm.

The vehicle was found in Iron County, WI – along the victim, who was apparently not seriously injured.

The Ironwood investigating officer told the dispatcher that he doubts they will extradite the Sunday victim – Mr. Storm – back to Ironwood to face his original domestic violence charge.

It is unclear if charges were filed or if Mrs. Storm was taken into custody.

The home invasion was first dispatched as a trespasser attempting to kick in the caller’s door – about 10:48 p.m. on Wednesday Night, Feb. 28, 2018.

“He is in the residence now,” the Chippewa Count 911 dispatcher said.

It will be much safer for all if she surrenders. On Sunday morning, police used tracking dogs from Michigan State Police K-9 unit trying to capture Shumate.

A suspect we only know as Alan DeVoe
The man’s wife was rushed by ambulance to the Ironwood Aspirus Hospital Tuesday afternoon after she called 911 in Gogebic County to say she had serious injuries inflicted over along period of time – including being hit at least 10 times in the face. The victim was located at Ironwood Estates.
The allegedly attacks apparently occurred downstate where law enforcement is also involved in the case. Its not clear how the victim and suspect traveled to Gogebic County.

Numerous police officers from two counties pulled over a car Tuesday night in the southbound lane of 1-75 near mile marker 373 apparently near the Mackinac County/Chippewa County line. Police were searching 1-75 because the victim reported the suspects may be headed to Kinross or the Soo area. Three suspects were detained.

One suspect – 23-year-old Ivan Parker of Sault Ste. Marie, MI – is a native of the Boston area who claims on Facebook to be a former record producer at ARTIS. Parker is lodged in the Chippewa County Jail.

A BOLO for their purple-four door sedan was broadcast after a the victim – Francis “Frank” John Chingwa of St. Ignace, MI – told 911 the suspect’s may be headed to his his sister’s house.

Chingwa reported a domestic assault in his St. Ignace home involving an alleged attempting stabbing. He also told 911 at least one of the suspects may have a gun. He identified that man as Donald – however no one by that name was arrested in Mackinac or Chippewa counties.

However, booked at the same time as the victim’s sister was one of her Facebook friends about the same age. He is a 23-year-old St. Ignace man – however we do not want to release the man’s name until we get confirmation he is a suspect.
Authorities have not released anything publicly about the domestic violence report.
