(Sault Ste. Marie, MI) – Underwear Man caused quite a buzz this morning when he showed up in the ambulance bay at the emergency room of War Memorial Hospital in Sault Ste. Marie, MI

It all began about 5 a.m. ET today, Tues., Nov. 14, 2017 in the Eastern Upper Peninsula – when a bemused and amused paramedic reported to Chippewa County dispatchers than a man clad only in underwear had made a bizarre appearance.

The man drove his car onto the sidewalk and then into the ambulance bay – where he exited only in undies. The man claimed to need help for his wife or girlfriend – but suddenly left.

He fled to the southwest in his car on Spruce Street. Police are investigating.

The paramedic said the man said he was Robert. However the whole thing was caught on hospital security videotape and the car tag is registered to another person. We are withholding that info until anything is release officially – if ever.

The man may work at a local school – and another report said a pizza restaurant. Everything is clear as mud – but they’ll never forget what they saw this morning during real Life in the ER.
