This may be small comfort to those who got egged or could not sleep, but as happens here in the far north – so goes the deep south. U.P. Breaking News has launched a sister news service “South Eastern Social Justice Breaking News” – and while monitoring Augusta, GA area police radios we find kids are same everywhere. Early Saturday (12-2-17), officers in Aiken, SC were called to a wild and loud college party with some 50 students.

(Upper Peninsula of Michigan) – Police were kept unusually busy Friday night with large, wild, loud parties for colleges kids letting off steam – however local resident who got egged and neighbors who could not sleep might no laugh it off as youthful charades.

Some eastern U.P. residents will be waking up to find their cars egged – and police are expecting those calls. In fact, perceptions of the ethics of college kids partying wild can be debated but it is a fact of life in university towns. Alcohol or drug-feuled partying can have tragic consequences.

At about 11:45 p.m., Fri., Dec. 1, 2017 one of the worst calls of egg throwing was reported in Sault Ste. Marie, MI with hundreds of kids from Lake Superior State University. Serial egging was reported p of people and vehicles in and around a wild party at an LSSU sorority house.

“Everyone has eggs,” said a police officer after he was sent to investigate the first calls of cars being targeted.

“You will probably get a lot more calls,”an officer predicted. Apparently dozens of cars in the Soo area were egged.

Earlier Friday night, we issued a “U.P. Breaking News Idiot Advisory 12-1-17 8:55 p.m. ET – Egg throwers in Houghton.”

Seems Michigan tech students were also partying and throwing eggs.
“Houghton Police were tracking down a couple of sophomoric fools who are egging people in the College Avenue area.”
Two “victims” have reported being hit by eggs.
Police were called to 1101 College Avenue in Houghton, MI for one of the incident reports.

Meanwhile Marquette Police were called Friday night to quiet or stop a party of 40 people mostly Northern Michigan University students.
