Domestic Violence Victim

With sadness and respect, U.P. Breaking News dedicates this police audio to domestic violence victim Robbin Anne Lampinen, who paid the ultimate price for staying with her alleged abuser.

She will never be 54 years old.

Many neighbors and family members have confirmed the turbulent relationship – and now the suspect is allegedly on a four-day meth binge. Its her boyfriend who has been charged with murder.

The police and emergency audio from this week’s murder of Robbin Lampinen of K.I. Sawyer, with her roots in Big Bay.

This is the first 30 minutes of the murder event – and it has been condensed into just under 6 minutes (5:40 condensed length).

U.P. Breaking News removed most of the pauses between conversations.

We also took out most of the info about the suspect’s vehicle because the description was close but wrong for the first few hours.

In addition took out the name of the caller (suspect’s mom) who reports the murder, and names of some of the victim’s neighbors.

Dispatched at 12:52 a.m. on Wed., Dec. 15, 2016

First police officers arrived at crime scene at 1:04 a.m.

“She is deceased in the bedroom,” the mother of the suspect reported her son said. “He has been drinking and has a history of DV” (domestic violence).

“He left the doors open,” the 911 dispatcher said quoting the suspect’s mother.

“We are inside the residence,” said the first officer on the scene.

“Clear the air,” the dispatcher told all cars.

“There is blood,” the officer said as the police slowly crept into the open residence at xxx Dart street.

Then they clear the house as the find the body.

“She is stiff, may have been here a while,” an officer said. “But unknown the circumstances.”

“We’re clear, you are with the deceased and the body is stiff,” the dispatcher acknowledged.

“Right the rest of the house is clear,” the officer answered back.

U.P. Breaking News will be doing an update on this case this weekend as we have spoken with family members on all sides.
