If you enjoy beating women and children – move to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan – where the sheriffs, prosecutors and state police actively protect you if your are arrested – your name isn’t released (In fact is actively hidden) – your charges are dropped or plea bargained into the basement.

(Upper Peninsula of Michigan) – Every single Upper Peninsula sheriff, prosecutors and Michigan State Police supervisor are involved in covering up for those who violently beat women.
A vast majority of the domestic beating victims in the U.P. are women – with suspects both men and women. Its that backwoods narcissist who think heor she has the God given right to pummel women.

In fact the dereliction of duty in the U.P. will ensure that if you have a two-year-old girl – its guaranteed she will be beaten when she starts dating because nothing is being done to prevent DV from continuing. Nothing. Just the opposite, as their names are covered up.
Ironically a few prosecutors run their re-election campaigns claiming to be tough on DV.

Hurry move to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan if enjoy beating women and child because nothing will happen to you

DVin UP Graphic 5

Even if you are charged – you will get super sweet plea bargains.

Plus many U.P. cops and prosecutors are eager to hide the names and charges against women beaters.

In fact, they are required by law to release names, photos and charges immediately after arrest – however they tell lies like the charges have to be authorized etc.
Complete and 100 percent BS.

Its a local backwards policy  – not Michigan state law – to withhold names and charges against criminal suspects in U.P.

Besides liking DV suspects – the U.P. Boss Hoggs play a guessing name on Mobile Patrol – they want you to guess what the charges are:

Some areas of the country actively get the names out and put them on TV feeds.
Some even send some info (names only) to Vinelink and Mobile Patrol.

The worst of the worst crooked sheriffs and prosecutors in the U.P completely hide everything like Baraga, Ontonagon, Gogebic Luce and some other counties – who absolutely love the folks who assault women and are child beaters.

A big case of child beating was recently covered up in Baraga County – and the suspect is a woman who fled.

And one of the worst plea bargains in DV history happened in past year in Delta County. In fact it is so horrified the sheriff and prosecutors should resigned in disgrace.

There there are the noble the state police – whom I was always taught to respect.

However there are courageous MSP troopers hands in the U.P. shut up or get fired or reassigned. MSP troops are forced to quietly go along with the crooked sheriff’s and shrug their shoulders – without the guts to speak out against the system.

The FBI has few agents in the U.P – and they have never ever investigated a white collar crime against a white U.P. elected leader. Never.

In Georgia at least they here sheriffs, prosecutors and other elected officials into their own jails.
One problem is there are so many socials issues that have been ignored in the U.P. that now its rampant.

Listen to the scanner for one night, a handful of cops on the roads in big U.P. counties – resounding to a host of mental illness and suicidal cases. Plus assaults everywhere.

During a clandestine meeting with a state cop recently – I was told that troopers are genuinely afraid that they will be shot one night because of all the untreated mental illness – the state budget answer to that is to continue to cut U.P. funding on all social areas.

I am truly ashamed of our leaders – and their bucket-load of lame excuses. I was taught when I grew up that these leaders were honorable.

These Boss Hoggs have a bizarre mental illness – they hunker down with a “you’re for us” or “you’re against us” mental defect.

They cannot take criticism.

The media is mind-controlled laps dog – to be fed occasional news releases days later – and corrupt officials have their hands licked by all the U.P. news bosses – like little pigs on a teet.

Since the first of the year, just a few examples of what we have already seen:

  • Marquette businessman gets away with hit and run
  • A U.P. radio executive’s jailing covered-up by U.P. media
  • A wealthy Marquette County west-end women is allowed to steal a quarter million dollars with a slap on the wrist
  • The inexplicable case (wealthy family) of a rapist in Forsyth Township – the male family scion was actually recently given probation for rape CSC
  • Then the man is Escanaba who savagely beat a kid into a coma – then a few years later strangled and threatened his girlfriend – who had major felonies dropped to an attempted DV – and he got just one year in state prison – and will soon be released in Delta County for all the women to date

Tell me is this justice?!?

——-
As we shut down our news service on Sunday for financial reasons, we have two or three more exposes in the kettle of fish that is the U.P. Even in this new century.

#1 We will exposed how the Houghton County Sheriff, Michigan State Police, and Michigan Tech University who are involved in a conspiracy to illegally give a majority of the wrecker business to one company they favor– the company that also tunes and services their cops cars.
And the same wrecker service that has relatives on the force. The Michigan State Police Calumet Post supervisor has been repeatedly told about about this conspiracy – and MSP does nothing to stop it .

#2 Will will explain the Boss Hogg syndrome that permeates those in power. I started working political corruption news assignments in south Georgia (many arrests made by a watchful FBI)
In the U.P. an elected official can get away with anything they want – no checks and balances.

We just had a tip that the city of Marquette is purposely overpaying a building contractor – hiding the overruns – and a watchdog who blew the whistle was fired. Shame on Marquette. If we can before Sunday, we will pass along more info on that corruptions case involving Marquette city hall renovations.

Sunday midnight is our official unplugging moment – sadly – I hate it but have spent thousands of my own money.
I have had numerous state and federal cops privately acknowledge we are correct – but they can do nothing.
It takes decades to weed out a Boss Hogg system when the FBI isn’t watching. So tell the young girl to be prepared to be pummeled because those in charge are shameless idiots.
We cannot afford to continue fighting these big-headed creeps.
Our expenses are only $250 a month – and need help paying a huge government public records bill.

I understand most of our great and beautiful readers are low-income because we fight for them.
But if you have the means – and you believe in an independent press – please help. But don’t worry – if you can’t I’ll be fishing all summer rather than working. My retirement from news – and exposing U.P. corruption.

I believe the only way to make change with a Boss Hogg system that’s been ingrained for100 years – is to shine light on the problem. Please do not let your two-year-old girl be a victim when she’s a teen or older.

If Upper Peninsula women’s DV groups do not demand that a light be shone on offenders – then the beatings will continue for decades to come. Stand up and have the guts I know you have. Its not 1984.

Delta County bookings/busts since Thursday: All weekend arrests in Delta County – that is now hiding which people are charged with domestic violence so we have to show everyone

URGENT – U.P. Breaking News Bulletin – 3-26-18 – 3:47 p.m. ET

Delta County arrests/bookings from Thursday thru Sunday, March 26, 2018 – Delta County is now protecting domestic violence suspects by hiding the charges – They are thin skinned and did not like one of our editorials that said they were soft on DV – so we are now forced to show all arrests

By Greg Peterson

(Escanaba, MI) – U.P. Breaking News is now forced to show all arrests in Delta County – since the Delta County Sheriff and Prosecutor just began hiding charges again domestic violence and other assault suspects.

They did this a day or so after we criticized them for being weak on DV suspect – who had attacked two people in his short life – and put one in a coma.

We do not know – and neither does the public – what these people were charged with – and officials in Delta County like it that way.

U.P. Breaking News believes strongly in exposing domestic violence that is rampant across northern Michigan. It is sad that 14 of the 15 U.P. counties (exception is Marquette County) hide domestic violence and other felony arrests from the public.

They like the power and control of information – and like to decide what you know. This is unacceptable in a free society – especially in an area where a women are violently attacked daily by other men and women. Sometimes the victims are men – but most are beaten by cowardly men (the prosecutors, sheriffs are men).

Domestic violence must be brought out of the shadows even if the U.P. local Boss Hoggs want to protect the offenders. Women have the right to know what men and other women are violent.

Apparently they want you to guess the charges.

(Wakefield, MI) – A female assault victim was taken to the hospital late Friday after a reported attack at a Wakefield convenience store.

The attack was reported at the Holiday Station on US-2 in Wakefield about 11 p.m. CT, Fri. night, Feb. 23, 2018.

It is not clear if the victim was a customer passing through – or the clerk.

Wakefield attack 1

The woman sustained unknown injuries in the assault. She was taken to the Aspirus Grand View Ironwood Hospital.

The suspect fled in the victims 2004 white Mazda 3.

“It’s my car,” the victim could be heard telling police over the two-way radio as they gave broadcast a lookout for the car.

The suspect was suspected to have fled to an apartment on nearby Sunday Lake Street.

“She was fairly frantic,” a dispatcher told police rushing to the scene.

Police arrested an Arkansas man who the victim said assaulted her.

31-year-old Marcus Jeffrey Tate of Little Rock, Arkansas was taken to the Gogebic County Jail after being arrested about 20 minutes after the attack.

A check by police showed that Tate has outstanding warrants out of Little Rock, Arkansas but they do not want him back that badly.

The felony probation violation warrant has “an in-state only pickup” that is non-extraditable The probation violation involves an original conviction for larceny.

Tate also took off without a valid driver’s license – as the suspect has a suspended driver’s license that expired on Dec. 27, 2017.

Police also ran a computer check of the suspect’s older brother –  but he was apparently not involved in the alleged attack.

Meanwhile, the violence was not exclusive to the Michigan side of the border.

At 11:30 p.m. CT Friday night – Beacon EMS paramedics were called to the Sliver Street Pit Stop bar/restaurant in Hurley, WI to treat two male victims involved in a fight.
“We have two subjects bleeding, both subjects were involved in a fight,” the dispatcher told paramedics.

43-year-old Jason Paul Smith of Ishpeming, MI was booked into the Marquette County Jail (MCJ) at 6:01 p.m. Wed., Jan. 31, 2018.
The couple was heard fighting and arguing in their second floor apartment. Alcohol was a factor.
Police launched a manhunt for Smith about 3 p.m. on Wednesday who allegedly fled the scene of the crime on Vine Street – running east and allegedly with blood on his knuckles and a beer in his hand.
Smith is charged with third offense domestic assault/violence, and with a Marquette County Circuit Court Probation Violation.
Bond has not been set for Smith.
**If you have a photo of Mr. Smith – or any info on his DV background please pass it along.
Charged with third offense – yet no records online – plus a circuit court probation violation charge.

We take DV very seriously – and wish all the U.P. prosecutors made available info on DV offenders including mugshot. It would be the greatest public service decision you make today.
It weird that mobile patrol can get photos but jails refuse to help.

(**Editor’s note – If Kyle Allen is ever willing to discuss what happened the night he was with the woman who accused him of rape – we’d love to do an interview. You’ll have to excuse us for questioning the credibility of a convicted cocaine dealer – but we’d be happy to bring you his entire interview – he can say anything he wants)

(Marquette, MI) – An Ishpeming man – who has been accused by an Ishpeming woman of rape – has been busted again.

34-year-old Kyle Thomas Allen of Ishpeming, MI was booked into the Marquette County Jail at 7:31 p.m. Friday night, Jan. 12, 2018 for a Marquette County Circuit Court Probation Violation. Allen is on probation until this November 11,2018 on a felony charge of fourth degree fleeing and eluding police.

Kyle Allen 2

It’s not clear what probation condition he allegedly violated, but it was enough for the court to issue a warrant. We have listed his probation restrictions below.

Our readers helped locate Kyle Allen around Christmas 2016 when a CSC warrant was issued for his arrest.

Allen went on ABC10 TV in Ishpeming in May 2017 claiming his innocence of rape- but not mentioning he was to be sentenced less than a week later for felony fleeing and eluding.

During the story on ABC10 WBUP-TV, Allen did not explain what happened that fateful night with the Ishpeming woman – nor did the story mention his other felony convictions or looming sentencing. (See link to our editorial and other coverage below).

Allen was sentenced on May 19, 2017 and appeared on ABC10 on May 11 – six days earlier. Was this just a freak coincidence?

During his TV10 interview,  Allen blamed social media – i.e. U.P. Breaking News coverage claiming he was railroaded ion the rape charge.

Allen was sentenced in May 2017 for felony fleeing and eluding – and had a 2009 felony cocaine delivery conviction.

(Ishpeming, MI) – An Ishpeming man has been charged with a sex crime allegedly involving a child.

41-year-old Mark Alan Starrine of Ishpeming, MI was booked into the Marquette County Jail (MCJ) late Thursday night, Jan. 11, 2018. Starrine was being held Friday night under a $50,000 bond. Starrine is charged with second degree criminal sexual conduct (CSC).

Starrine is accused of a sex crime allegedly involving a child. Under Michigan law, second degree CSC involves a victim under the age of 13 – or 13 years of age but less than 16 years of age. U.P. Breaking News has found numerous online comments about the case and the young age of the victim.

Starring is also a former Republic, MI resident, however voter registration records show his address as 1138 South Pine Street in Ishpeming. U.P. Breaking News was unable to obtain a photo of Starrine – if you have a photo please send it to us via email or Facebook.

Meanwhile in an unrelated case – an Ishpeming man once accused of CSC – is now in trouble with the circuit court judge in Marquette County.

34-year-old Kyle Allen was booked into the MCJ at 7:31 p.m. tonight for an unspecified Marquette County Circuit Court probation violation. Allen was arrested on a CSC charge on Christmas Eve Day 2016 for allegedly sexually assaulting an underage woman who was drunk. He was charged then with third degree CSC.

Allen was convicted of a felony (tho that felony conviction remains unclear) and now is in trouble again because he charged with the circuit court probation violation. It is not clear what felony he was convicted of – but we have our sources checking.

U.P. Breaking News has yet been unable to verify claims by ABC10 that Allen was not involved in any sexual crime.

U.P. Breaking News Editorial:

Its bizarre that Ishpeming’s ABC 10 tried to drum up support/sympathy for Allen shortly after our readers helped bust him – after he said all charges were dropped and the case was over.

You see, at least ABC10 WBKP/WBUP should have done a follow-up on Allen’s felony conviction after their story (no matter what felony)  – after a story that tried to drum up sympathy for Allen. Did Allen just show them paperwork (as their story claims) or did they do more investigating like talking to the prosecutor and the police. If so, who specifically.

Wonder if it was because I was their news director – and the boss of the current weak news director. He loves us more now that we have accused ABC10 of covering up the arrest of four prominent Yoopers (along with rest of the U.P. Media) while breaking their necks to report the poor who are arrested.

Its our editorial opinion, that ABC10 was transparently upset over our readers helping to track down the suspect (I am their former news director) – because they took the unusual step of running a story to generate sympathy for Allen. If not they would have reported his unspecified felony conviction. ABC10 violated journalistic ethics by not reporting his felony conviction – whatever the charge – after their story about him. In their story, Allen blamed social media for his woes.

If he was innocent, Allen could have told us – but we would have checked it out beyond paperwork. In fact, we’d still love to interview Allen (from jail or not). It’s worth noting we have not found a registered sex offender page on Allen.
Well, he has since been convicted of a felony – and ABC 10 did not bother to tell you. They may try to spit polish this – but its only spit.

Here are the stories on the original warrants taken out for Allen’s arrest – and his attempt to elude police. Please call us if you are an attorney who is representing Allen – or better yet – Allen himself. I am pretty sure his family will call, as they yelled at us last time.
