Soo man who served state time in Kent County Jail on cocaine probation violation – has been arrested by federal agents in Colorado and brought back to Marquette in connection with a federal heroin sale probe

(Marquette, MI) – A Soo man has been booked in Marquette, MI and is accused of selling heroin – plus already served time on cocaine charges.
The man was reportedly picked up by federal agents in Colorado in connection with a federal investigation dating back several years in the U.P.

27-year-old Joseph Gideon Gravelle of Sault Ste. Marie, MI was booked into the Marquette County Jail just before noon today, Wed., Dec. 6, 2017.
Gravelle is charged with one felony – sale/delivery of heroin.
Details of Gravelle’s arrest have not been released.
In September 2015, Gravelle was sentenced to state prison after pleading guilty in downstate Kent County to two felonies: controlled substance-possess narcotic/cocaine < 25 grams and operating with presence of a controlled substance
He was released from the Kent County Jail (where he served his state time connected to a probation violation) on July 27, 2016 serving just under one year.
