**Update 11:37 a.m. ET on Mr. O’Dovero – who was just brought back to MCJ by a deputy from Escanaba.

They called him a fugitive.
Wow! All of the following was for possession of marijuana.  Much ado, considering every day we hear them cops forced to let go much more serious offenders by agencies with bigger charges but who do not want to travel to get their suspect.

45-year-old Jay David O’Dovero of Marquette, MI was booked into the Delta County Detention Center (DCDC) at 6:14 a.m. ET this morning, Fri., March 16, 2018.

The charges O’Dovero is facing in Marquette have not been released.

O’Dovero is being held without bond – and is  (and update was) expected to be transferred to the MCJ sometime today (Friday).

He was – fetched by a deputy – and charges seem minor to be called fugitive!

Once he is booked into the MCJ late Friday morning (today) – it turns out to be a charge of possession of marijuana.  Can that be right? Wow!
