Michigan State Police probe Sunday morning rollover on U.S. Highway 41 in the southern Upper Peninsula just south of Powers, MI near Delta/Menominee line

Few details are available on an early morning serious rollover accident that occurred on U.S. Highway 41 near the Delta and Menominee county lines south of Powers, Michigan, U.P. Breaking News has confirmed.

Michigan State Police are probing the accident that happened about 2:20 a.m. today Eastern Time, Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016. The wreck was south of Powers near Labelle Road.

Rampart EMS was called to the scene to transport the male victim to the hospital.

The victim was reported conscious but unresponsive and police were investigating the possibility the man was ejected from his overturning car.

The victim’s condition is not known and his name has not been released.

Initial reports indicate that alcohol is believed to be a factor in the accident.

U.P. Breaking News left a message for the trooper investigating the accident through Menominee County 911 Dispatch. Only one vehicle was involved in the crash and the driver was the only occupant of the car. The accident remains under investigation.
