Firefighters braving 30 degree wind-chill fighting Ishpeming, MI blaze

Firefighters are fighting a house fire in the city of Ishpeming, MI – and are facing double digit below zero temperatures
The fire was reported about 4:10 a.m. today, Dec. 27, 2017.
Firefighters and police are at the scene said to be at 407 N. Maple St. in Ishpeming.
Ishpeming Police officers confirmed that about 5 people had to flee the burning house and into the street.
The temperature is about -17 with a wind-chill estimated at 30 degree below zero.
All occupants escaped.
The Negaunee Fire Department has been called as mutual aid.
Firefighters are being assisted by Marquette County Rescue Squad 131
The fire a two-story residence is near N. Maple and East High Street – and a few blocks east of Lake Bancroft.
