As an investigative reporter, I especially appreciate and respect the freedoms our country has – and its because of our military, law enforcement and all emergency folks.

I know this because I follow the Committee to Protect Journalists that daily shows how many reporters are tortured, arrested and murdered in other countries

That is one reasons I feel so strongly about public records and government officials honoring the laws – like public documents. It is what our founding fathers wanted.
