Here are some of the more serious arrests in past 48 hours in Marquette and Delta Counties

18-year-old Ricky Constantino-Berry was booked into the Marquette County Jail at 10:10 a.m. ET on Fri., Dec. 15 2017
Berry was booked on a charge of assault with a dangerous weapon.
Not sure, but this could be related to his arrest with two other teens in April 2017 for holding another teen against his will and even using a taser numerous times on the victim’s head and holding a machete to his throat.
300 block of County Road 550.

52-year-old Michael Alan Kopsi of Marquette, Mi was booked into the MCJ just after 9 a.m. on Fri., Dec. 15, 2017.
Kopsi was booked on an illegal entry charge. Bond is not set.

22-year-old Michael Ward (address unconfirmed) was booked into the DCDC at 1:10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 15, 2017.
Ward is charged with delivery/manufacture of a controlled substance (narcotics or cocaine).
Bond is not set.

25-year-old Azairian K. Cartman of Marquette, MI was booked into the Marquette County Jail at 3:41 p.m. Thurs., Dec. 14, 2017.

Cartman is charged with larceny from a building ($5,000 bond) and receiving/concealing stolen property worth $200 ($1,000 bond).

Cartman served in the U.S. Army and an international studies Northern Michigan University student from the Chicago area who has spoken out publicly against racism on campus.

Rodney dean Ellison FB 1

Rodney Dean Ellison

49-year-old Rodney Dean Ellison of of 621 Minnesota Avenue in Gladstone, MI was booked into the Delta County Detention Center (DCDC) at 8 p.m. Thurs., Dec. 14, 2017 on a probation violation.

In August 2017, Ellison pleaded guilty to assault and battery and to a license violation and was sentenced to 15 days jail with credit for three days served.

Ellison was put on 12 months probation and ordered to pay about $1,500 in fines and costs.

Randy Dillabough FB 230-year old Randy Dillabough of Escanaba, MI was booked into the DCDC at about 8:15 p.m. Dec. 14, 2017 on two charges.

Dillabough is charged with resisting arrest/obstructing an officer plus possession of marijuana.

 


Christy LaPalme FB 136-year-old Christy LaPalme of Escanaba, MI was booked into the DCDC about 6:30 p.m. on Thurs., Dec. 14, 2017.

LaPalme was released on bond about 9:15 p.m.

LaPalme is charged with larceny in a building.

19-Year-old Ryan Kemp (address unconfirmed but believed Ishpeming) was booked into the MCJ at 10 p.m. ET on Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017.
Kemp is charged with receiving/concealing stolen property between $200 and $1,000 ($2,500 bond) and driving with a suspended license ($6,050 bond).

Pittman is charged with first degree retail fraud ($5,000 bond).

Pittman has previous Marquette address, Sault Ste. Marie native.

21-year-old Amanda Pohlman (address unconfirmed) was booked into the MCJ at 3:45 a.m. on Friday, Dec.15, 2017 on numerous serious traffic charges.
Pohlman is charged with two counts of failure to stop for a property damage accident (one charge has a $1,000 bond, the other $5,000 bond), expired driver’s license, and no insurance.
Polhman’s total bond is $13,500.
