The robbery attempt occurred just before dawn (about 6:15 a.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2016) at the America’s Best Value Inn located at 1010 M-28 East at U.S. 41 South at the main intersection in Harvey in Chocolay Township.

The masked suspects fled on foot after threatening the clerk with knives – and fled into a get away vehicle. The clerk pulled out a gun and scared off the would-be bandits.
