Two men sought after truck smashes into a Hurley, WI home early Wednesday – and the suspects fled on foot possibly toward Ironwood, Michigan

(Ironwood, MI/Hurley, WI) – A manhunt is underway for two men who allegedly crashed a truck into a home in Hurley, WI and fled the scene on foot possibly toward their native Ironwood, MI.
The original call was for two men involved in an incident during which “a truck that hit a house” in Hurley, WI – and then two men from the Ironwood area fled the scene on foot.
Dispatchers stated the men were stuck just prior to the crash into the home. The type of “truck” involved was not explained.
“Apparently they were driving a vehicle that got stuck, ultimately hit a house,” the Gogebic County dispatcher said. “They were possibly crossing the bridge to Michigan from Hurley – They were looking for you to check the area walking – they’d be out on foot.”
About 12:55 a.m. CT, Gogebic County dispatchers put out a BOLO for two men wanted in connection with the incident.
They men in the BOLO are 35-year-old Leroy James Hamm and 37-year-old Michael John Krone, both natives of Ironwood, MI
Little is known about the crash or how much damage was done to the Hurley home.
Dispatchers said Hurley Police requested the law enforcement in Gogebic County watch all bridges (over the Montreal River) into the Upper Peninsula because the men may be headed to Ironwood on foot or hitchhiking.
